Then imagine joining us and experiencing life at Gasworks Arts Park. We are a small but dynamic team working to bring more art into life. We are currently looking for a new Head Technician to provide technical operations for productions right here at Gasworks.
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled production technician, with new events and productions happening in our outdoor parklands, inside theatres, exhibition galleries and studios. The Head Technician will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure all technical services (lighting, sound & AV) are delivered. As Gasworks embark on our next phase of evolution and commence renovations to buildings and parklands, we are seeking someone enthusiastic to join the team and be part of the ride.
Gasworks Arts Park is a vibrant arts precinct sitting on four hectares of beautiful parklands in Albert Park. We program over 250 theatre performances, 800 workshops and 30 exhibitions annually for all ages. We have two theatres, three gallery spaces, function spaces, a meeting room, 16 resident artists’ studios and a café, all on site and nestled within our tranquil parklands.
This is a full-time position comprised of a mix between office hours and up to three evenings a week to operate show as required. Gasworks offers great work / life balance with flexible workplace hours.

This role is classified as a Level 7 on the LPA award and paid at $29.72 per hr.
