Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the bump-in & out of all lighting elements in coordination with the Associate Lighting Designer and/or the Technical Director.
• To manage and maintain all lighting elements under the guidance of the Lighting Designer, Technical Director and/or their deputy.
• Operate the Lighting Console.
• Update and maintain all relevant show plots and manage all lighting and electrical touring equipment during pre-production and run of play.
• Maintain the technical standard set by the Technical Director.
• Manage all lighting & electro-mechanical items and report on all issues as they present themselves to the Technical Director.
• Follow & maintain as required all WHS policies & procedures.
About you:
• You will have over 2 years’ experience in a Head of lighting role or equivalent.
• Excellent Organisation & Communication Skills
• A team player, always wanting to put on the best show possible.
• Self motivated & takes initiative.
• Experience in working under pressure, using tact & diplomacy
• Ability to work with creative’s, technical personnel and performers.
• Enjoys musicals
