ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head Electrician reports to the Director, Technical & Production and is responsible for planning and implementing all electrical/technical requirements relating to the presentation and operation of Bangarra Dance Theatre performances throughout Australia and internationally.
The Head Electrician’s primary purpose is to provide electrical/technical support to Bangarra Dance Theatre productions, events and functions, including pre-production, rehearsal, and bump in/out periods. Central to this position is the role of coordination and implementation of technical lighting, requirements for productions and venues and assisting where necessary with sound and AV.
This is a full-time, one year fixed-term role with the potential to extend, and is a rare opportunity to join Australia’s leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts company in a pivotal production role.
