Held at Flemington Showgrounds, Equitana Melbourne is a huge event which showcases the very best of equine competitions and exhibition. This year it was an exciting new event for our calendar which we absolutely loved getting acquainted with. From our 2mm LED cube suspended from the Big Top structure, to utilising a broad spectrum of our intelligent lighting inventory, we had a full team of lighting, audio and vision technicians working their magic over the 4 day event extravaganza.
We supplied a custom rigging solution in a venue without many rigging options.
An even and bright wash across the arena was a must for the Olympic qualifiers in Dressage and Show Jumping. This was achieved using LED fixtures such as Martin MAC Quantum Washes for the first time. Along with the arena lighting there was also a separate stage element with its own rigging and lighting built.
Due to the dusty nature of the gig Harry’s built an acrylic screen and roof over the ops area to protect the equipment.
