Resolution X continues to service the highest-specification events with the GLP Impression FR1 and JDC1 new into stock.
The Impression FR1 is a compact RGBW LED moving wash, with super-fast 3.5° to 35° soft-edge beam and continuous pan rotation. With GLP’s trademark baseless design the FR1 has a footprint of 19.5 x 14cm, sits at a maximum 35.5cm tall, and weighs in at under 5kg. ResX’s new stock of FR1s arrived in time to support Guy Sebastian’s performance at the TV Week Logie Awards. See them in action here, with some great looks at 0:06, 1:30, and 3:20.
Since its launch in 2017, the JDC1 has fast become an industry standard. Incredibly popular with lighting designers, these tilting head strobes offer a wide array of versatile effects. Both the main RGB face plate and central white LED tube are controllable in up to 12 sections, with independent control of each. As well as powerful strobe effects the JDC1 also serves as a tilting wash light with pixel mapping surface. Combined with industry leading thermal management, the units can also be run continuously as a high output blinder. ResX is sending a package of JDC1s out this weekend with lighting designer Kait Hall to make their debut. These new fixtures are accompanied by a custom fabricated floor package for Courtney Barnett’s performance at Splendour in the Grass.
