The Role

The Glasshouse is seeking a suitably qualified individual to provide high level lighting technical expertise to ensure the successful implementation of theatre shows, conferences, meetings and musicals.

You will demonstrate proven experience in all aspects of venue lighting including creating your own designs and interpreting designs written by theatre productions. You will have ability to problem solve under pressure and work towards deadlines as well as manage and supervise a small team. Working knowledge of other technical systems and a class C drivers licence is also required.

Desirable requirements include experience in the use of a power flying system, relevant Workcover tickets or licences, First Aid certificate and a relevant tertiary qualification.

Remuneration

The position operates on a permanent part-time basis, remunerated between $654.21 – $736.62 based on 24.5 hours per week plus 9.5% superannuation. Hours will be worked in the form of a 7 day roster arrangement according to the operational needs of the business. Penalty rates apply for weekend hours worked.
