During May we lit the gorgeous production of ‘The Hello Girls’ for Bijou Tasmania. The Hello Girls tells the fascinating story of America’s first Female Soldiers, deployed to France during World War 1 as part of the signal corps.
This production was at the Hobart Playhouse Theatre and made full use of their investment in new lighting stock which they were delighted to supply. We supplied 22 x CKC Profiles. The new fixtures with full-colour control greatly increase the theatre’s opportunities. The new fixtures will significantly reduce operating costs with much lower energy consumption and elimination of consumables, and also allow the use of lens tubes from their existing Selecon Pacifics, not only saving significant costs but also reducing environmental impacts, what a win! We’ve also added to our own inventory a number of new CKC Profiles and Fresnels.
We also added additional fixtures from our own extensive inventory, including Showline LED Strips for cyc lighting and an array of Selecon PL1 LED Frensels to complement the theatre’s new lighting.
