ResX took the centre court as the key lighting supplier for this year’s Australian Open.
During the 15-day event, the ResX team was entrusted to provide entertainment lighting at Rod Laver Arena, a crucial component in boosting pre-match excitement for the night sessions across the tournament.
Our rig, designed by Toby Harding at Tennis Australia and operated by Thomas Herterich featured the wildly impressive ShowPro Shark Hybrid from Show Technology, a fitting quickly establishing itself in the Australian market when versatility and outright punch are needed. Complimenting this was Ayrton Domino Profile LT, known for its high-output performance, wide zoom range and perfect colour rendering, which was the perfect choice when called upon for a high-definition broadcast environment.
In addition to Rod Laver arena, ResX also provided a number of suppliers across the site, including corporate functions, broadcast lighting and supported our sister company Lightmoves with seamless integration of the sports lighting across the site.
