The Role
• Provide outstanding technical expertise to our theatre and function clients
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the venue
• Flexibility and adaptability in hours is a must due to the varied operating hours of the venue
Key Selection Criteria
You will need
1. A high level of knowledge and skill in the operation of theatrical lighting fixtures and skill in the placing of sets to achieve the effect desired by artistic personnel of hiring organisations
2. Experience in the operation of a range of audio equipment and the application of theoretic practices in the mixing of sound from stage.
3. A good understanding of the safe operation and supervision of a single purchase, counter weighted flying system, including rigging of sets and other required equipment to this system
4. Highly effective interpersonal skills, incorporating verbal and written communication, customer service, a positive demeanor and a ‘can-do’ approach
5. Flexibility and adaptability will be required to meet variable work times and rosters
6. The ability to effectively operate autonomously and contribute to the team
