Universal Hotel Group is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Freelance Lighting Operators and Service/Maintenance Technicians to work across our venues. Lighting Operators will work mainly at Universal Nightclub but may be required to undertake work at other venues as required. In addition, we are seeking experienced Service and Maintenance Technicians to work across various venues as required by the needs of the business.
Lighting Operators will report directly to the Production Manager and be responsible for delivering Lighting, Video, and Laser Operations for various events that the business produces.
Service & Maintenance Technicians will work across a variety of venues ensuring all lighting and video systems are maintained to the highest level and assisting the business with improvements and upgrades as required. Previously experience in Moving Light Cylindrical maintenance will be highly regarded.

MA Lighting – DOT 2 Platforms
ARKAOS – Grand VJ XT
Beyond Laser Control
In addition to the above operators will be required to assist in Event Builds and associated duties as directed by the Production Manager and Venue Management.
