Forge Audio opt for ShowPRO Colliders

The guys at Auckland’s Forge Audio, a creatively focused and technically precise event production and equipment hire company found that recent riders and show specs were constantly asking for RGBW strobes and realized that it was time to add to their inventory. However, not just any old RGBW strobe would do.

“We delayed purchase until there was an option that exceeded the output of the previous industry standard strobe, while offering colour mixing and an LED source,” stated Marc Angelo Benedict of Forge Audio. “The ShowPRO Collider offers a good solution with great flexibility as a full colour mixing strobe, wash or eye-candy effect.”

Marc explained that the main reason they decided upon Colliders over other models was their output, adding that they were brighter than other options they trialed yet drew less current.

“They also have a low channel count profile with built in pixel-mapping effects for shows that need a quick turnaround of install and programming,” he said. “They can also be scaled to full pixel-map mode for larger productions.”

Forge Audio has used their eight ShowPRO Colliders on What So Not, Machine Gun Kelly NZ tour and Mardi Gras NZ with Pendulum and Sticky Fingers to name a few.

Marc remarked that the IP65 rating of the Collider will be especially handy for festival stages this coming summer and look forward to seeing them perform again.
