Follow-Me BV announced the launch of its Track-iT Weatherproof Anchor at the PLASA Show last weekend
The Follow-Me Track-iT Weatherproof Anchor is designed to integrate seamlessly with Follow-Me Track-iT systems, using ultra-wideband technology, multiple anchors are strategically positioned to pinpoint tags placed on the performer, building on scalability and improving tracking capabilities in outdoor environments.
Its IP65 rating ensures the Track-iT Weatherproof Anchor can withstand anything from dust and downpours, the company says, delivering consistent and reliable results whatever the weather. Built to perform reliably in a variety of conditions, the units meet rigorous safety and performance standards, FCC certified for use in the US and CE marked for use in the European Union and UK.
For follow-spot tracking, Follow-Me products can control a whole variety of lighting equipment, including moving heads and conventional fixtures with its well-received Proximity feature, enabling these fixtures to light up based on the position of the performer on stage.
Follow-Me technology includes 3D stage mapping and camera calibration, so the system can easily recognize changes in height, and objects to avoid, identified in the stage area. Whether for a small outdoor stage or a large venue, the system is flexible and scalable to meet the unique needs of any event.
