Shure has announced a new firmware upgrade for its recently introduced ADX5D Axient digital dual-channel portable wireless receiver that now includes a new Party Dial function as well as an optimized menu structure.
Party Dial is designed to enable users to quickly switch between RF channels from a pre-selected group of frequencies. This pre-selected group of frequencies can be sourced from a Custom Group of user-defined frequencies or as a result of a deployed group scan. It can be particularly useful when using one receiver and there’s need to quickly switch between multiple transmitters.
The optimized menu structure places the most commonly used features within a few clicks of each other, providing users with a more efficient way to access tools related to everyday operational tasks, such as adjusting audio and RF parameters.
The Shortcut Menu has also been addressed, now including just a few of the most critical features, such as IR Sync and headphone adjustments. It also offers quick access to the home screen and channel switching.
