About the Role
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role primarily focuses on the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations within Novatech.
Main Tasks and Duties include:
- * Coordinating and execution of weekly payroll, including responsibility all pay-related queries and payroll compliance.
* Completing comprehensive financial compliance tasks including BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Workcover reconciliations.
* Coordinating end-of-month accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy through reconciliations and variance analysis.
* Maintaining integrity of accounting records, including Cash Accounts reconciliation and Fixed Asset Register management.
* Supporting development of accounting policies, process enhancements, and internal controls.
* Providing high-level support to Business Services Manager on financial management, data auditing, and analysis, while staying updated on legislative changes and new technologies

Experience
- * Minimum Diploma of Accounting or equivalent, along with membership in a recognized Accounting body, and familiarity with MYOB Advanced or other ERP systems.
* Comprehensive understanding of both administrative functions and accounting support, reflecting versatility and a holistic approach to business operations.
* Proven experience supporting Finance Managers or higher, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and ATO compliance, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong proficiency in IT and systems, particularly Excel and Word, for efficient data management.
