Festival X Kicks Off with Chameleon

Formed as a collaboration between industry leaders and teams behind some of Australia’s leading festivals, concerts and events, Hardware (Piknic Electronik, Babylon), Onelove (Stereosonic) and Live Nation (Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Download) partnered to launch Festival X.

The promising electronic and hip-hop based event had a massive lineup for a festival’s first run including gargantuan acts like Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Lil Pump, Blueface and Alison Wonderland.

Chameleon supplied the three main stages (Pixel, Flux and Helix) in Brisbane and Sydney. The largest stage was Pixel which featured heaps of Claypaky gear including Sharpy, Scenius Profile, Scenius Unico and Mythos. Martin MAC Viper Profile, MAC Quantum Wash and Atomics, GLP X4 Bars and JDC-1 Strobes, ShowPRO Colliders all packed a punch. Added to that were Robe BMFL and MegaPointe.

Sharpy and MAC101 dominated the Helix stage with more Sharpy, MAC Auras and Solaris Flares for the Flux stage.

Control for all three stages was MA Lighting.
