At this year’s GETshow, taking place in Guangzhou, China, Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands unveils the new MSD Platinum 17 RA system that provides unrivalled brightness from a compact light source. The lamps are specifically tailored to the demanding requirements of the touring/stage industry.
Today, stage lighting is all about creating impact and powerful effects. In close cooperation with OEM customers, Philips has developed a lamp that meets market needs such as extreme compactness, high-contrast beams, very bright light and undisputable quality. The Philips MSD Platinum 17 RA enables the design of small, flexible and extremely efficient fixtures. This compact, lightweight lamp provides extreme brightness with a high light output of 20,000 lumens at 350W. The lamp provides cool white light (7000 K), a high color rendering of 85 and is ideal for follow-spots and beam fixtures used in any type of event. It has been successfully designed-in the GS10 beam and G10 hybird fixtures of Terbly.
