For more than five decades, Queensland Theatre has been bringing people together through the unique ability of live theatre. We collaborate with an extraordinary range of artists and arts workers and in 2024 we continue to champion Queensland artists, stories, and communities, creating access to opportunities to learn, create, perform and participate.
To bring our stories to life on stage, Queensland Theatre employs multi-disciplinary production teams comprising a range of roles to plan, build and run our theatre shows. These teams include:
- technical roles in lighting, sound, vision, automation and special effects;
- making roles in props, set building, scenic artwork, costume making and costume artwork;
- planning roles in production coordination and production management; and
- show roles in stage management, staging, wardrobe and as theatre technicians.
