At Eventec, we recently held a gathering to celebrate 10 Years of Event Lighting and the opening of our brand-new showroom.
This showroom space is now open for clients wanting to visit and view a large selection of the products we have on offer.
Part of this area includes a dedicated theatre space with motorised truss ceiling grid and equipment from Event Lighting, High End Systems, Event Pixels and Wharfedale Pro.
The function itself catered to close to 100 guests throughout the evening with some travelling from as far as Darwin, Townsville, Gold Coast and Melbourne.
We were lucky enough to have entertainment on our Maximus trailer stage supplied by JC Entertainment & Events. James and the crew were also there to provide a complete Event Lighting, Antari and Event Pixels rig which looked incredible!
The control was via a High End Systems Road Hog 4-21 with Jeremy ‘Fish’ Lassemillante kindly coming down from Darwin to attend and operate the console.
The audio system was comprised of the brand new Wharfedale Pro WLA-115A Hybrid Curvature Array boxes and a pair of WLA-121SUBA 21″ active subwoofers. These performed well in the conditions and gave clients an insight into what’s to come from the team at Wharfedale Pro.
James Callaghan of JC Entertainment was a great support in getting everything up and running and said “It was great to get involved and come together as a collective industry. We’ve been dealing with the team for just over 7 years and wanted to show some appreciation for the support Eventec has given us.”
Eddie Welsh, General Manager NSW of Harry the hirer was also in attendance commenting “It has been great to see Eventec’s growth over the last few years. Well done to the team on the new showroom space and office fit-out.”
The successful evening also saw a sneak preview of several new fixtures and brands on the horizon.
Sean Dixon, National Sales Manager, announced that Eventec will be offering Absen LED products as part of our vision range and opening a Queensland office in Nerang in early 2024.
These exciting announcements expand our offering and provide existing Queensland Business Development Manager, Michael Montgomerie-Williams, further room to grow with a fresh team and increased support for our valued clients up North.
We’d also like to thank Voli K for performing on the Maximus Stage and Antico Woodfired Pizza for keeping everyone fed. This event showed you can’t beat great tunes, tasty food and excellent company. We appreciate everybody who made the effort to attend and look forward to another 10 years of business to come.
