Charlton Christian College’s annual Big Night Out is usually a chance for the schools’ students to show off their musical prowess in front of a packed audience of their friends, family and teachers. This year, however, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event had to pivot in order to go ahead. Equip Multimedia provided world-class video, sound and lighting to showcase a live stream experience like no other and was hosted from Equip Multimedia’s very own warehouse.
In a few short months, live-streaming has become an integral part of the future of events, with the ability to broadcast media in real-time all over the world. Charlton Christian College’s Big Night Out was broadcasted to well over 400 viewers showcasing the students’ skills in music, singing and dancing. The school’s best and brightest performed everything from renditions of Adele songs to Violin recitals, all live on Youtube.
While the students showed off their impressive skills, Equip Multimedia provided an effective lighting and vision package as well as an online streaming service, all in house. The full production ran for two hours with a premium range of sound and lighting equipment used to achieve an outstanding show.
