With just five weeks to go, ENTECH is set to open at The Concourse on Monday, October 10 with some very theatrical surprises. Occupying the Pavilion and also the Concert Hall, the show is joined by a back-of-house pathway.
“We had a site meeting this week with Erin from production and venue manager Allison to workshop how to get our trade visitors flowing between the two spaces”, says Event Manager Kate McKenzie. “They were full of ideas and excitement for the show which really vibed us up!”
“The solution is locating the Chameleon Bar in the wings of the Concert Hall, which means moving three pianos and some timpani drums. Then Tony at Chameleon came to the party with something we have never done before”.
In the age of cryptocurrency, a new kind of transaction instrument called ’The Chameleon’ will appear in Sydney, allowing early access to the bar – from midday. To obtain your Chameleon’s, you need to be nice to someone who has some. A Chameleon is not a fungible token, and cannot be transmitted electronically.
ENTECH rolls on to MCEC on Wednesday 12 October, then RICC in Brisbane on Monday 17th. With the Entertainment Logistix trucks stuffed full, only single city stands in Melbourne and Brisbane remain available.
