A major part of meeting the requirements of their clients is the ever-expanding lighting inventory. Headed Neale and Caroline Mace, the company recently acquired 24x of the new CHAUVET Professional COLORado Panel Q40s from Showtools International.
“We have been looking for a robust and powerful IP rated wash light and when Showtools sent us a demo of the fixture, we discovered what a good thing it was” stated Managing Director Neale Mace. “We’ve seen how successful the fixture has been overseas since it has come on the market and that made the choice easier to acquire the Panel Q40.”
The rugged RGBW LED wash fixture is perfect for events where indoor/outdoor flexibility is needed “The fixture utilises a 40 15 W RGBW LEDs that will give us some superior edge-to-edge colour mixing all with outdoor rated power and data connectors that allow for easy connections without propriety cabling making it equipped for or all conditions,” stated Neale.
Another feature that stood out to Neale was the beam angle, “The Panel Q40 comes equipped with adjustable beam angles that includes a magnetic flood filter that allows for a wider even area wash. The fixture is flexible with adjustable PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to avoid flickering on camera, control through WDMX & RDM (Remote Device Management), selectable, smooth dimming curves for eliminate flicker and choppiness in fades with advanced optics that will provide us exceptional colour mixing and high efficiency.”
