EAVP invest in Claypaky Axcor 300 Beams

Perth’s Elite Audio Visual Productions needed to again expand their lighting inventory and they required a fixture that provided high build quality, low maintenance and was basically an all-round solid unit.

“We of course touched base with our incredible supplier Show Technology and once we were shown the Claypaky Axcor 300 Beam, we immediately knew that this ticked all the boxes,” commented Brock Preston, Managing Director of EAVP. “With its’ LED source and the incredible reputation of Claypaky, we knew we had made the right decision.”

With its’ small body, big personality, and mass appeal, the Axcor 300 Beam is the perfect replacement of a Claypaky Sharpy.

“It has an incredible concentrated solid beam and an astonishing light output,” said Brock. “The colours are amazing and it can do some great aerial effects. They use the same colour wheel configuration and gobo set as a Sharpy fixture profile so you can use them on existing shows where Sharpy may have been originally spec’d.”

With a price-point, physical size and power consumption that disguise its strength and creative potential, the Axcor Beam 300 enables a new world of expression in touring, events, TV, theatre and installed lighting markets. It’s no wonder that having made an initial purchase of eight units, EAVP have plans to expand their numbers over the coming months.
