The Duty Technical Officer provides proactive and reactive venue and studio technical support for the Faculty’s lighting, sound and AV infrastructure, including induction of students and staff in the safe use and operation of equipment. The role will also be required to install and operate lighting and sound systems and contribute to maintenance programs and procurement.
You will have experience in; providing instruction and induction in the use of performance-based technologies, operating AV, lighting and sound equipment and troubleshooting technical issues. A strong service orientation, the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and the ability to manage time effectively is also required.
This is a full-time, fixed term position for three years. The role will work between the Southbank and Parkville campuses as required.
