Drum Theatre is the City of Greater Dandenong’s primary cultural facility, a 521 seat state-of the art theatre which hosts a range of touring professional productions, local theatrical performances, conferences, presentations and community events. Services are also provided from time to time at other cultural venues across the city.

Drum Theatre is seeking to appoint experienced and suitably qualified Theatre Technicians to join our Team. The role reports to the Technical Operations Coordinator. The primary tasks include:

The preparation and delivery of technical services for professional and community theatre use
Delivering excellent customer service
OH&S procedures and client safety
Maintaining technical facilities and equipment to a high standard

The successful applicants will provide an enjoyable experience for patrons and deliver excellent customer service striving to exceed clients expectations.

Successful applicants will also have experience in all aspects of Technical Theatre operations and services, and be good team members. They will need to hold a current certification.

The preferred applicant will be required to undertake a functional capacity assessment (physical).
