Job Summary
Professionally handle incoming customer inquiries by phone, electronically or face to face, and ensure that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Ensure product or service has met and/or exceeds customer expectations. Provide up to date product information and ensure accuracy when orders are received, processed and reviewed.
Coordinate the processing of purchase orders, verifying inventory, track billing and delivery. Act as liaison between customers and internal departments (sales, technical support, product management, etc.). Record details of inquiries, comments, concerns, customer interactions and transactions
The Role
Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be the first point of contact to support customers with sales orders, product delivery and customer complaints via e-mail and phone.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaison with customers in relation to enquiries
- Handle customer complaints
- Record details of inquiries and complaints into the system
- Process orders via phone, fax & email
- Monitor customer interactions & transactions
To be considered for the position the following criteria will be considered:
- Solid, stable experience in a similar role
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Have an interest in entertainment lighting products
- Experience with Navision is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Be proactive and organised
- Demonstrate high attention to detail
- Customer service experience in an office is essential
