Creative Venues Events & Production Supervisor

Permanent Part Time – 45.6 hours per fortnight
$75,981 – $88,322 p.a (pro-rata) plus Super

About the role 

Macedon Ranges Shire Council is seeking a proactive and skilled Creative Venues Event and Production Supervisor to join our Creative & Connected Communities team. This is a dynamic part-time position (3 days per week) where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical and operational support across our creative venues. You will oversee event production including sound, lighting, and staging, ensure venue safety and compliance, supervise a small team of casual technical staff, and assist with venue hire and community programs. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys variety and working in a collaborative environment. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

About you 

You are someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and brings a flexible, solution-focused mindset to your work. You ideally have experience in technical production and venue operations, and some exposure to staff supervision or stakeholder engagement. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities will be key to your success. A passion for the arts and community-focused work will be highly valued, and you’ll be excited by the chance to contribute to local creative life in a meaningful way.
