Band 5 – $66,701 – $76,669 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Arts and Culture team on a full-time basis.
The Wedge is an exciting cultural facility that delivers exceptional entertainment choice for Wellington Shire’s community and visitors. The Centre presents in excess of 150 events each year of very diverse local, professional and community programming, with an attendance of over 50,000 annually.
The Coordinator Theatre Operations is responsible for developing and delivering presenter services at The Wedge. You will provide outstanding service to presenters whilst actively building business and coordinating the provision of event based technical services. In addition, you will assist presenters to plan and produce in house productions for events including conferences, functions and meetings.
To be successful in this position, you will have significant entertainment industry experience, particularly in the provision of technical services and client management.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
- Demonstrated experience in a technical position in a performing arts centre or theatre environment.
- Well-developed organisational and effective time management skills.
- Specialist knowledge and experience in the Entertainment and/or Events Industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients on their technical requirements and explain services and standards.
- A collaborative and dynamic working style with an ability to work alone with hands-on capacity.
