About the role
This role sits in the Arts and Cultural Development team as part of the Community Life division which strives to develop healthy, active, connected and safe communities through the delivery of community facilities, events, experiences and life cycle services from birth to older age.
The Coordinator Production will coordinate and deliver Bunjil Place events safely and efficiently to the highest standard, resulting in a polished, professional standard across the Precinct for internal, commercial and community clients. Events include both live and digital events across Bunjil Place Precinct.
In this role you will:
- Provide leadership to the Production team and support day to day operations.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders and Bunjil Place teams to ensure the client’s needs are fully met.
- Effectively communicate event details in the lead up to events with the Production Team and other teams including Function & Events, Security/Visitor Liaison, Ticketing, Plaza and Gallery to ensure high level delivery of all events
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and events across Bunjil Place to manage internal events, and general duties requests.
- Develop and support rostering requirements for the Production team. Approve timesheets post event.
- Support to clients throughout the booking process at Bunjil Place. Complete organisation of events through all stages of the booking process such as responding to Expression of Interests, conducting Site Inspections, creating Cost Estimates and prepare events for reconciliation.
About you
- Degree or diploma in relevant course or lesser formal qualifications supported by substantial relevant experience within the Arts and Entertainment industry.
- Proven ability to work with clients and stakeholders to actively promote events and sales via multiple channels.
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Use a computer, be proficient in Microsoft suite of programs, and rostering systems.
- Understanding of event management and other arts/events related software (previous Ungerboeck experience is desirable).
- Manual lifting (set up / pack up of equipment / moving of goods and equipment) may be required.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including: National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
- Functional Assessment (physio/medical).
- Covid-19 Vaccination in line with State Government directives.
