Coordinator, Operations & Productions, Tamworth

The Entertainment Venues Division of Tamworth Regional Council is seeking the services of an energetic individual with experience in leading, coordinating and implementing the operational and production/technical aspects of the Division.
You will be responsible for overseeing our venues and equipment maintenance, managing technical staff and coordinating production requirements for events with a focus on building the production services arm of the division.
Well developed interpersonal/communication skills as well as the ability to work with a high level of autonomy and under pressure are essential. Experience within a performing arts centre or venue would be desirable.
The applicant will need to possess:
Advanced Diploma in Live Production and Technical Services OR equivalent industry experience
National Certificates of Competency Licences
current drivers licence
the ability to meet deadlines and/or objectives
This position has been classified as a Grade 14 with a salary range of $69,094 to $74,767 per annum (inclusive of 9.5% superannuation).
The ordinary hours shall be arranged on the basis of a 35 hour week arranged as 140 hours within a four week roster period.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
