Mandylights is a lighting and visual design company based in Sydney and working around the world on projects ranging from boutique corporate and private functions through to international theatre and concert productions of all shapes and sizes. As the company grows, Mandylights is looking for reliable, knowledgeable and well-presented crew available to work in Sydney and around Australia on a contract basis periodically.
Key responsibilities for contract staff may include:
– Assistance with the preparation of equipment for various events
– Assistance with the setup and pack up of lighting, vision and related technical equipment
– Driving of vehicles (up to 3t truck size)
– Acting as a systems technician on projects of varying size
– Basic show operations duties
Applicants for these positions should:
– Have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role
– Possess superior client relationship skills and act in a professional and courteous manner at all times
– Have a thorough understanding of lighting systems, fixtures and related equipment
– Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant OH&S laws and procedures
– Possess an Australian Business Number (ABN) and relevant public liability insurance (desired)
