COLORdash lights up Vivid at St Albans

Recently as part of Vivid celebrations Tony Moffat, Creative Technical Producer/Director at Sixteen: Nine was contracted to provide lighting for St Albans Anglican Church at Epping. Tony went to Showtools International looking for a light fixture that would sufficiently light up the inside of the church. After searching the market, Tony found the wash light he was looking for in the CHAUVET Professional COLORdash Par-Quad 18.

The COLORdash Par-Quad 18 is powered by 18 quad-colored RGBA LEDs in a compact and durable housing. “The COLORdash Par-Quad 18 was the perfect wash light for the job as the fixture’s Amber LEDs help me produce any variation of white and stunning saturated colours that I needed for an expansive palette devoid of multi-colored shadows.”

The fixture provided Tony with a great general colour wash, “The wash coverage I was able to achieve was great with a vivid array of colours that really projected and highlighted the visual imagery that is on the windows of the church, giving the images the proper significance that it has for the church.”

In addition, Tony emphasized how lightweight the fixture is, “The Par-Quad 18 is a lightweight fixture that is easy to install with a split-yoke bracket eliminating the need for floor stands.”

Thanks to the use of the COLORdash Par-Quad 18 wash light by Tony Moffat, St Albans Anglican Church was saturated with an array of light as part of Vivid celebrations.
