The need for a high-power, feature-rich batten is now fulfilled with the Claypaky Tambora Batten. Powered by sixteen Osram 40W RGBW LEDs – the same LEDs found in the HY B-EYE and MINI-B fixtures – this fixture allows dynamic control of each LED for pixel mapping effects. Users can control each LED’s colour, dimming, and strobe rates individually or in unison. Several bars may be arranged seamlessly in a line or in a matrix maintaining the distance between the LEDs between different fixtures for uniform appearance to the sides and top/bottom.
The Tambora Batten offers zoom control from 4° to 40° and the unit’s cells tilt has a range of over 220° making it very versatile. It also features white CT emulation 2500-8000K, RGB auto-tuning to lamp CT emulation, and beam edge softening control in wash mode. Each unit is equipped with an internal Ethernet switch to daisy-chain multiple units together for dynamic pixel-oriented effects.
