The mighty Claypaky Skylos are back in action, showcasing their prowess at Lightscape 2024 in the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.
This year’s event features a redesigned trail and brand-new installations, inviting visitors to stroll through artistic lighting, discover large sculptures, vibrant effects, and immerse themselves in an ambient soundscape along the way.
The Claypaky Skylos has been showcased in a stunning ‘Sea of Lights’ installation crafted by Ithaca Studio with complementing lighting design by Mike McDonald from Twenty20 Creative. The impressive display features thousands of LED light balls, each intricately choreographed to custom soundtracks. The Skylos shows off its versatility with its array of rotating and fixed prisms onboard, creating a mesmerising dance of light across the installation and far into the night sky!
Lightscape 2024 runs at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria in Melbourne until Sunday 4 August.
