Each Saturday Pacha, the international clubbing powerhouse, takes over all the bars of Sydney’s top nightspot ivy and its surrounding laneways. And true to international Pacha form, the night includes weird and wonderful roving entertainment – think circus, dance, acrobatics and street performers.
It’s been over two months since Pacha unveiled their 2015 show design that included six Clay Paky Stormy CC which have been working their colourful little butts off!
“They wanted a bright, reliable, RGB LED strobe included in their show design for 2015,” commented Neale Mace, managing director of Entertainment Installations, lighting supplier for the event. “Of course, there are a few other LED strobe options available, however, after seeing the Stormy at Clay Paky earlier in 2014 I recommended that they use them.
“They are very bright, great colours, robust and reliable (a requirement for this venue) and with their traditional strobe/reflector look they make a great visual rather than the LED block type strobes.”
Neale reports that the gear really gets punished at Pacha and so far, the Clay Paky Stormy CC has not let them down.
