The new COLORado 1 Solo from Chauvet Professional was designed to deliver stellar performance in any production or touring environment, indoors or out. This IP65-rated par-style wash fixture, which will be unveiled by the company at LDI (Booth #539), offers the unique combination of a single-source RGBW LED and a wide-ranging 9° – 72° Zoom.
Equipped with a high-power 60W Quad-Color (red, green, blue white) LED and featuring advanced optics, the COLORado 1 Solo’s output appears as a single beam, rather than a collection of pixels — thus the “Solo” in its name. Capable of achieving superior blended colors, the company says, the COLORado 1 Solo will distinguish itself by projecting an even, fully homogenized beam through fast and smooth zooming optics. At 5m, it emits a brightness of 3,763 lux at an 8° beam angle, and 71 lux at a 55° angle.
The COLORado 1 Solo is also ruggedly built with an indoor/outdoor rating of IP65 for use in all types of weather conditions, even wind and rainstorms. With power and DMX data connectors also rated at IP65 and quiet convention cooling, the adaptable COLORado 1 Solo is equally at home on a silent main stage or lighting up an outdoor music festival, theme park, or cruise ship.
The newest member of Chauvet Professional’s COLORado series, the COLORado 1 Solo includes color temperature presets from 3,200K – 10,000K, multiple DMX personalities (7, 9, 11, or 15-channel), and selectable dimming curves for programming versatility. Smaller than many other fixtures in its class, the company says, it weighs 11.8lb (5.35kg) and measures 13.7″ x 6.9″ x 9.5″ (348mm x 175mm x 241mm). A Seetronic Powerkon power cord (IP65) and a gel frame are included with the fixture.
