The biggest rock tour of 2020 hit Australia in February as Tool embarked on a national arena tour. It’s Tool’s first Australian tour in seven years, off the back of their new album Fear Inoculum – their first release in 13 years.
Known for their spectacular production values, Tool did not disappoint and Chameleon was proud to be on the road with them.
Chameleon supplied 24 x Ayrton Perseo-S, 24 x GLP JDC-1, 20 x GLP X4 Bar20, 57 x Ayrton MagicBlade FX, 13 x Martin MAC Aura, 24 x Robe Pointe and 12 x Robe Mega Pointe.
Chameleon’s new MDG Fog Generators -The One hazers performed admirably with a DF 50 hazer in support.
Control included an MA Lighting MA2 full-size as a tech console and eight MA NPUs. The LD travelled with his own MA3 full-size.
Chameleon also supplied an Intercom Master, 4 x Intercom Substation, 24 x PDS 12 GPO Distribution, 4 x Stagesmarts AB Mains Distribution and 8 x DD8 Data Distribution.
From Delicate in LA, the band toured 12 x Ayrton Magic Ring, 24 x High End Turbo Ray, 8 x Ayrton Wildsun and 7 x Ayrton Magic Dot.
Montreal’s Show Distribution supplied 32 x automation controls and motors.
