The Royal Easter Show has closed for another year and our lighting system crew of Andrew (SOS) Ritchie and Matt Garrett did a great job.
Every night the Greatest Easter Show Spectacular was held in the Sydney Showground Stadium with lighting designed by Paul Collison.
There were Hot Air Balloon Aerialists, the world’s largest Sphere of Fear, motorcycle highwire, trapeze aerialists, extreme vaulting, Australian Stockmen and gorgeous Glowing Mystical Horses.
And of course, our fabulous lighting fixtures making it all special!
The rig was 36 x Claypaky Alpha 700 Beam, 56 x Martin Professional MAC Viper Air FX, 36 x ROBE lighting Spiiders, 9 x Robe BMFL Blades, 4 x PROLIGHTS – Professional Lights Panorama IP Washes, 8 x Collider FC Strobes and 72 x 15m strings of ShowPRO Dreamfest LED festoon.
The show was operated by Francesco ‘Mario’ Calvi on an MA Lighting International grandMA2.
