An opportunity now exists for two creative professionals with a minimum 3 years experience in operating audio or lighting equipment to join the team at Logan Entertainment Centre.
The position requires advanced knowledge in either theatrical lighting or live audio mixing. Duties will also include maintaining equipment, fault finding and providing pre-production services as required.
Experience with a variety of clients including touring productions, schools, corporate and community organisations is essential, with a background in the performing arts and/or a regional venue is preferred.
Logan Entertainment Centre forms part of the Major Venues and Community Facilities team at Logan City Council, and the successful candidates will be providing technical services to the AquaLogan and Insports programs in addition to Logan Entertainment Centre and community venues.
Our ideal candidates will be self reliant, have a customer service focus, strong verbal communication skills and enjoy working in a small team environment.
Applicants must have the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Experience using a Jands Hog 1K Lighting Console or a Yamaha M7 Digital Mixing Console would be highly desirable but not essential.
