What we are looking for?
An opportunity exists at the Frankston Arts Centre (FAC) as a Casual Theatre Technician.
As a Casual Technician you will assist in the delivery of Performances, Events & Functions across all Arts & Culture venues and spaces, ensuring a high standard of customer service & presentation.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing professional technical knowledge and ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery of technical elements for events and venues supported by Arts & Culture
- Providing high-quality technical service and a safe, welcoming onstage environment for Council, staff and presenters
About you
- Previous experience operating in a busy theatre/live entertainment environment
- Proficiency in one or more of the key disciplines: Staging, Lighting, Sound, Audio Visual
- Focused on working in the arts and have a strong practical understanding of corporate and community client needs
- Flexibility regarding shifts and work hours and an understanding that night/weekend work is required
