The Casual Theatre Technician’s position will provide vital support to the Theatre and Building Technician in the delivery of professional, technical support for the operation of the Blue Mountains Theatre. The incumbent will have a varied role and will require a sound working knowledge of the Hub’s infrastructure, activities, and program, with the expectation of providing the highest possible standard according to established procedures. The Casual Theatre Technician should be capable of operating all aspects of in-house technical systems including sound engineering, lighting and audiovisual systems. The incumbent will also form part of a team committed to the security of the building and its contents and the safety of staff and patrons.
