The Theatre Technician is part of a team that provides creative and technical assistance to the Monash University Academy of Performing Arts (MUAPA) venues and programs of Monash University Academy of Performing Arts across the Clayton & Peninsular campuses.
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and enthusiastic professional theatre technician.
We are seeking experienced theatre technician who are flexible, customer focused and display respect, teamwork and responsibility. Applicants must be able to work well under pressure, have an ability to prioritise tasks, work both unsupervised and within a team environment.
The successful applicants will have experience in performing arts, skills in sound, lighting and staging systems, coupled with excellent customer service skills, and demonstrated experience in a similar position. Applicants must be available to work rostered shifts outside normal business hours including weekends and evenings.
