Casual Technician – Technical Events (Potential of becoming Part-Time)

$40.12 per hour (Includes Casual Loading)

Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Casual Technician to join our Technical Events team. (these positions have the potential of becoming part time)

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The primary responsibility of the Casual Technician will be to support the Technical Events team in the set up, operation and bump out of technical equipment for events across Museums Victoria’s venues.

Notable skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the technical operation of sound, lighting and audio visual equipment for events.
  • Knowledge of theatre and event lighting, audio mixing, live streaming, video production and stage management experience these areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including technicians, event staff, performers, clients etc
  • Proficiency in the use of Elevated Works Platforms and a range of hand and power tools.

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a casual position that has the potential of becoming part-time, and the hourly rate is $40.12 which includes casual loading.
