What we are looking for:
Our Venue Operations team is looking for some great people to join and support them in the successful coordination of the performance operations at the Council’s Brolga Theatre. Hours are casual, as required, and may include weekends and after-hours.
A key accountability of this role is to provide a professional, welcoming representation of the Fraser Coast region and the range of Theatre presentation and performances on offer. Location is in Maryborough.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting to deliver the highest possible productions standards
- Present The Brolga Theatre favourably to hirers, the public and the Performing Arts Industry
- Ability to remain calm within a pressurised environment
- Assisting with the set up and pack down and technical aspects of productions
- Ability to work as part of a team

What you should have to apply:
- Industry White Card (or ability to obtain)
- Outstanding work ethic
- Awareness of safety
- Be a team player
- Be willing and able to follow instructions
- Possess good interpersonal skills in order to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team
- Class C drivers licence
What’s nice to have:
- Previous experience in the Technical Department of a professional Theatre Company, Performing Arts Centre, or Entertainment Centre
