Casual Technician

Love theatre? Experienced in backstage theatre work, audio, audiovisual, lighting or rigging?

We are seeking experienced theatre technicians to join our backstage team. Positions are casual and offered on a seven-day roster with evening and weekend hours often required.

Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre is a 491 seat theatre that presents an annual main stage season of theatre, music and dance and hosts both local and professional touring productions. The theatre also delivers a children’s season each year, a day time concert series and other events throughout the year.

  • Remuneration of $29.66 gross per hour + superannuation.

Technicians are responsible for safely and efficiently delivering high quality, professional technical and production support to a wide variety of commercial and community user groups and customers of the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre.

We are looking for people who:

  • Work well as part of a team;
  • Are highly motivated; and
  • Are enthusiastic and conscientious.
