The incumbent will work as part of the Performing Arts Branch, which is responsible for the ongoing development of the performing arts within Willoughby as well as providing high quality venues for a diverse range of Council, commercial, private and community functions. The Performing Arts Unit encompasses the following areas of management; Generating Engaging Performances, Managing Venues and Encouraging Community Performing Arts.
You will have:
•Demonstrated knowledge, skills & technical experience in delivering Sound/AV and lighting services; including equipment operation and maintenance.
•Proven delivery of high quality customer service to meet production requirements in high-pressure situations.
•Demonstrated experience with analogue and digital sound equipment.
•Demonstrated experience in rigging, patching and operating of lighting equipment.
•Demonstrated experience in rigging, patching and operating of video equipment.
•Knowledge and experience of technical production in live events.
•Demonstrated experience in giving high quality service to a diverse range of non-professional, community based and corporate clients.
•Demonstrated experience in Production management and technical planning.
•Proven delivery of technical documentation.
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•Demonstrated ability to work as a team supervisor or part of a team.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision.
•Ability to undertake physical work for extended periods and to work at heights.
•Understanding and ability to follow Risk Management Procedures.
