Casual Opportunity

Salary from $30.35 – $35.16 per hour plus 25% loading plus 9.5% superannuation

Georges River Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Technical Officer to join our dynamic and busy Entertainment Team. The successful candidate will ensure that customers of the Entertainment Centre and related facilities obtain the best value from the venue, facilities and services by delivering the technical and operational requirements of events.

Key Skills

Current NSW Drivers Licence

Certificate IV or Diploma in Live Production, Theatre and Events (Technical Operations) or equivalent experience working within a live theatre environment (minimum 3 years’ experience)

Demonstrated experience in the operation of theatre sound, lighting and stage equipment

Good knowledge of and commitment to safe working practices for events and equipment use and maintenance

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Valid Working With Children Check clearance
