The Role
This position contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema and the Town’s Events Team in the safe delivery of the high standard of quality entertainment and events which may include:
Assisting the Technical Officer in the maintenance of all technical equipment at the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema to comply with established industry standards
Assisting the Technical Officer and Events Team in preparation, safe load in/outs and operation of live entertainment production equipment of movie screenings.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as desirably possessing:
Previous experience and competence in production equipment set up, operation and maintenance
Current National Police Clearance
Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
Current cash handling
High Risk Work Licenses (MR, HR, Riggers, Forklift, Working at Heights.
