The Role

A team of enthusiastic event creators are seeking a Senior Technician to deliver fantastic customer service. This role is to lead professional event staff in delivery events held at City of Whittlesea’s venues, particularly PRACC (Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre), to delight and surprise audiences and corporate clients. You will lead and complete event setups and operate professional technical equipment. You will be expected to have a broad knowledge of event disciplines with highly developed technical operating skills.

About you

This dynamic role will require you to be flexible, with your hours made up delivering events, assisting on venue turnarounds and setups and performing general equipment maintenance. Your hours will include weekend and night work and your style will be collaborative and team-focused with a willingness to contribute on a professional level and give guidance and advice to our team members. You will also require developed negotiation skills, the ability to cooperate and liaise with people from all walks of life and you will be a key member of a small group of dedicated professionals.
