Working hard on and off the stage, our production crew play a key role in delivering extraordinary experiences for our audiences at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, in our QSO Studio and across Queensland.
About You
To be successful in the role, the ideal applicant will:
- have experience in a similar role in the entertainment industry
- be experienced in leading crews, following stage plans and delegating tasks
- be a team player with a positive attitude
- have good core strength and fitness
- be available to work days, nights and weekends
- enjoy learning new skills and working towards shared goals
- be well presented, neat & tidy
- have an ability to communicate well
- have a current open driver’s licence
About the role
Keys tasks will include:
- Running orchestra set-ups, pack-ups, bump-ins and bump-outs
- Preparation of orchestral instruments and equipment for transit between venues
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Ad hoc duties as required
As the production crew works to a monthly roster and hours vary week to week based on the orchestra schedule, Senior Production Crew opportunities are casual.
