Casual Lighting Technicians, Sydney Town Hall

The City of Sydney is seeking experienced Audio and/or Lighting Technicians to join the City’s Venue Management Team.

Based in Sydney Town Hall, you will provide a range of customer focused audio and or lighting and staging services and support to hirers and clients. You may also be required to work in our other venues, Paddington Town Hall and the Barnet Long room at Customs House.

Sydney Town Hall was upgraded in 2010. We have a great range of sound and lighting equipment and a busy event calendar with a wide range of events, including concerts, corporate events and exhibitions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

·         significant experience working in a similar live performance venue operating audio or lighting services

·         agility and ability to undertake physical work, including working at heights and in confined spaces if necessary

·         an ability to work flexible shift work on a rotating basis.
